Tulsa King Season 2 has been officially greenlit by the Paramount+ after witnessing the tsunami of viewers in the first season. The Sylvester Stallone starrer is proven to be a blockbuster for the original network and they are planning to bring more episodes of the series.
Created by Taylor Sheridan, the series follows a New York Mafia capo who has just come out from the prison after his 25 years imprisonment and now his boss has send him to Oklahoma to establish a brand new criminal empire.
The series is produced by Melissa Ann Jones and Tom Sierchio under 101 Studios, Bosque Ranch Productions, Balboa Productions, MTV Entertainment Studios, and Cold Front Productions.
Will there be a season two of Tulsa King?
Yes, there will be a second season of Tulsa King on Paramount+ because the show has been officially renewed. The official announcement was made by Paramount just a couple of episodes later of season 1 premiere in November 2022.
Tulsa King become the biggest hit of Paramount plus after 1923, a prequel of fan’s favorite Yellowstone series, also created by Taylor Sheridan. The network made a quick renewal decision after seeing the show’s landslide success.
When is Tulsa King season 2 coming out?
Even though, no official date has been made public by the Paramount, we can speculate a Tulsa King Season 2 release date by having a look at the first season’s timeline.
First season of Tulsa King was announced in December 2021 as Kansas City and was ordered for nine episodes by Paramount+ in February 2022. Filming began on 29 March 2022 and finished in August 2022 covering a total of five months.
The show finally began airing after two months of post production and the first episode premiered on 13 Nov 2022. Roughly, the series took almost a year to arrive after the announcement but this time we can expect the things to happen quicker as the show has already garnered a lot of attention but Colony Season 4 wasn’t lucky enough to recieve a renewal.
Since the renewal has been announced already, we can expect the filming to begin soon and if the filming is completed by June 2023 then Tulsa King season 2 will be released around September 2023.
Who will be in the season 2 of Tulsa King?
Sylvester Stallone will definitely return as the general Manfredi in Tulsa King Season 2. The man is given the responsibility to take over Tulsa and establish criminal operations there and if Manfredi will return then Andrea Savage will also return as his love interest Stacy Beale.
Domenick Lombardozzi is in another main role of Don Charles, underboss of the Invernizzi family with Martin Starr as Lawrence Geigerman, a weed dealer recruited by Dwight to help finance his cartel. AC Peterson is casting as Pete, ailing boss of the Invernizzi family and Garrett Hedlund is the bar owner Mitch Keller.
Max Casella is playing the role of a former Invernizzi soldier who made a new life in Tulsa after breaking his vow to the family. He was working at Fennario horse ranch and joins Manfredi’s crew after his failed attempt to murder Manfredi. Vincent Piazza is starring as Vince, Chickie’s top capo.
Is there a Trailer for Tulsa King sequel?
Paramount hasn’t released any trailer or teaser yet but we can expect to see a Tulsa King Season 2 trailer by August this year as the second season was announced at the same time as season 1 the previous year.
What will be the plot of Tulsa King Season 2?
In season 1 finale, we saw that Dwight along with his gang destroyed a biker gang but his enemies are not over yet and even Manfredi has to be extra careful. Things started happening at a faster pace after his love interest Stacy betrayed him at the end of first season.
Since Stacy is an ATF agent, she is fulfilling her duty to arrest all the gang leaders and it doesn’t matter if she is her lover or anyone else. That’s why, she helped authorities in nabbing Dwight along with his syndicate.
Moreover, the new boss of Invernizzi family Chickie is also planning to take his revenge after receiving a threat from The General Manfredi. How will the capo leader been able to fight against them when the list of his enemies kept on increasing?
Tulsa King Season 2 will begin with Manfredi being in jail as we saw Stacy helped in his arrest and now a friend has turned into an enemy. This can also become the title of season 2 episode 1 as ‘A Friend turned enemy’. Chickie will try to hold sway in Tulsa until Manfredi is released from the prison.
