When it comes to heartwarming Christmas holiday movies, Hallmark has no worthy opponent. The network is bringing another highly anticipated Christmas movie in the form of The Holiday Sitter, the special part is that, the movie is first of its type.
Hallmark has planned to release 40 newest holiday movies before the Christmas and among those, Holiday Sitter is something really special because it is Hallmark Channel’s first LGBTQ+ focused Xmas movie.
We will see Jonathan Bennet and George Krissa in the main roles of two gay guys, Sam and Jason. Sam is a workaholic bachelor who recruits help from his handsome next door neighbor Jason and finds himself in the middle of an unexpected romance.

Hallmark’s The Holiday Sitter movie was filmed in and around Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada during Sep 2022. Director Ali Liebert shared a photograph from the movie set on 4 October 2022 that features the same-sex lead and herself.
Vancouver is the most popular filming location among Hallmark directors because it provides lucrative taxation plans that saves a lot of money of filmmakers. Moreover, the place is often branded as the Hollywood North.

Krissa is starring in another lead role of Jason as the handsome love interest of Sam in the Holiday Sitter. The actor has also played a similar role before in Coroner(2019) and Trapped with My Husband(2022).
Chelsea Hobbs
Unlike Bennett and Krissa, Hobbs is a Canadian actress who is recognized in the industry for her role in Snow Queen (2002) as Gerda and in ABC’s family drama Make It or Break It (2019-2011) as Emily.

This is the first time when the two are coming together on the same roof. Will the Christmas lights bring colors in the life of Sam or this festive season will pass like others?
The movie is set to premiere on 11 Dec 2022 only on Hallmark Channel as the part of Countdown to Christmas programming event.
